All of your body produces waste as it works away. This waste collects in the sewer system we call the lymphatic system. This is a bunch of sewer pipes running around your body especially around your brain and neck and all downwards.
The waste sits in these lymph nodes - these little tanks that hold it.
Generally speaking we don't have a good way of pumping this lymph fluid out, like the heart does for our blood.
When you get rid of those toxins it will
get you feeling better
less headaches
reduce the puffiness under your eyes and double chin
So really Why is Lymphatic Drainage So Important?
Lymphatic drainage is crucial for brain health. While you sleep, your brain clears waste, including amyloid plaques. If not properly drained, this waste can build up, potentially contributing to conditions like Alzheimer’s and dementia. Adequate drainage supports memory and cognitive function by removing these harmful toxins.
You can see the areas that there are those nodes that the lymp fluid (that waste) sits there, and you never think to get rid of it. Think about being constipated not being able to get rid of that waste. Your body can't be feeling good with that sitting old and stale.
So how do we get the Lymph Fluid moving out of us faster?
We found some tools and tactics you can use right now!
One simple and kind of funny (VERY FUN) way is just simply jumping on a mini trampoline for even just 3 minutes explains physio Dr. Wendy Chorny. Rebounding on a mini trampoline can further stimulate lymphatic flow. The up-and-down motion helps move lymph fluid, encouraging toxin elimination and improving circulation. I'm sure your kids will love to do it with you!
Most of the lymphnodes are in the neck and head could I manually massage the Toxins out?
That's the Ancient Chinese method of Gua Sha that is the name for manually dragging the toxins out of the head and neck. This 2000 year old method, is just using your hands and guiding the fluid out of the nodes and down to the main pipes to be flushed out.
