There are several different types of headaches including migraines, cluster headaches, or sinus headaches and those you should consult your doctor for treatment.
However, you most likely have experienced regular tension headaches like most people.

How are Tension Headaches Triggered?
Here is a few reasons - which do you suffer with and the easy ones to start fixing?
- Alcohol, particularly red wine. Might not be possible to cut right?
- Certain foods, such as processed meats. Maybe just less? We all do love a good Prosciutto right?
- Smoking and Nicotine - hopefully not an issue
- Changes in sleep or lack of sleep - Don't we all!

- Poor posture

- Skipped meals aka "A Hunger Headache" - When should we eat? Maybe less meals? We are going to cover meal planning in later weeks.
- Stress we have a whole week on this coming up that will give you tactics to reduce your stress through the day.
- Anxiety and Depression. This could be food, stress, and all of life's pressures. Please seek medical advice. We do our best to give tactics to fix the issues within our health but extreme issues we want to seek the professionals.
Here's a few funny ones.
- Holding your head in one position for a long time (like using a computer)
- Clenching your jaw or grinding your teeth (bruxism) that can be a sign of your anxiety and stress.
- Sleeping in an awkward position or in a cold room
- Eye strain
- Dehydration headache and

So for all of these different reasons you can pinpoint what reason is for the headache by where you feel it in the head.
